Are you frigg'n kidding me? I can't imagine it ever being this cold. Even when I stick my head in the freezer I still can't fathom this temp. I hope you didn't stick your tongue out onto the tree branch:O
I'm pretty sure it's a right of passage for every Canadian child to stick their tongue to something icy during the winter. Therefore, I definitely learned that lesson a long time ago! -30's bad and all (it's the wind, mostly), but then I remember it was -50 for a good two weeks at this time last year, so I'm trying not to complain too much!
